DescriptionKate Baker is an Australian fine art photographer and developed her first photographs in her teens. Her photographs are produced with small, medium and large format cameras and film. She has been recognized for her portraiture, and feels strongly that, “photography is an exploration of how we connect with the world, how we connect with what’s within ourselves, and finally, [how we connect] to that which is greater than us.” Her intent is to “make photographs that serve as a bridge connecting us to something deeper and more personal.”
